About Leah Richardson Art
Welcome! I'm Leah Richardson, an enthusiastic young Bermudian artist. I find in art the perfect way for me to express my love of architecture, nature and my beautiful country Bermuda. I began as a self-taught artist exploring what it was in art that inspired me. My first solo art show exhibit was in the Homer’s Cafe at Masterworks Museum - a venue for local and overseas artists to display and sell their work. One of my pieces of art depicting Bermuda in the eye of Hurricane Gonzalo won first prize in a local student art competition. This experience opened my mind and boosted my confidence in exploring other artistic styles and mediums. As a college student, my creativity has continued to grow and mature as I master new techniques. I have a great love of open landscapes, waterscapes and the unique architecture for which Bermuda is known. My realistic interpretation and careful attention to light and color give a depth and dimensional realism to my work which I use to capture the atmosphere. Being able to express myself through such a beautiful medium (art), and being able to share it with others is very rewarding. I hope you enjoy my work and visit often to see more.

Artwork cannot lie. It reveals itself, its creator, and its viewer.
